WING THINGS : A Symbolic Language

THE WING THINGS is a solo exhibition held by Nus Salomo, curated by Rizki A. Zaelani.

Nus Salomo, who is known for his work 'Bamboo Wings', is actually an architecture student graduate from ITB Bandung. He continued his study in the United States for animation and digital visual technology. At the opening night, 20th May, the curator, Mr. Rizki stated that in Indonesia, Nus Salomo is acknowledged as an artist that pours his ideas into various media. From bamboo, metal, and paper, Nus is an unlimited 'artist'.

In this exhibition, not only conventional artworks are shown, like pictures of watercolor, but also some installations from 3D printing. Introducing the new era of art, in which technology is now included in the process of making. This method will of course change the perspective of the art itself and that is the challenging part for nowadays.

Here are some photos from the opening event at 20th May 2019.
