HITACHI SEASIDE PARK : Autumn with Kochias

2021. Yes, it has been 3 years since I visited this place.
First of all, I want to apologize for not immediately post this one and also this will be my first post in 2021.

Hitachi Seaside Park is one of my bucket list for 2018 trip to Japan with my mom. Sadly, when we arrived here, it was raining :") but only for half an hour, but after that the weather was cloudy so you could see from the pictures taken, the sky was kinda not that good. This beautiful park is having different charms every season. There are many varieties of flower fields you can find in here.

How to get to this place?
As I remember, I went to Ibaraki from Ueno station.
You can take limited express from Shinagawa/Tokyo/Ueno to Katsuta Station. It is covered by JR Pass. The transit time is around 1 hour 38 minutes (*from thepinaysolobackpacker.com).
From Katsuta Station you can take the bus to Hitachi Seaside Park. It costs 1200 JPY for roundtrip.

When is the best time to visit?
You can enjoy this scenery only at autumn season, around October - November.
Red field is filled with Kochia plant. This kochia is located in Miharashi Hill.

Hello I am Kochia

From the entrance to this view, you should walk around 15 minutes (if I am not mistaken), so arrange your energy to get back to the bus stop. The field is divided into 2 main colors, the pink side and red side. The pink side is a field of kosmos flowers.
