PERANAKAN HOUSES : Colourful Neighborhood at Joo Chiat Road

This is one of the famous instagrammable spot in Singapore, Peranakan Houses. 

There are 16 houses, facing each other on both sides. These vibrant houses are still used by the Peranakan family. They keep the gate closed, so we can only take the picture in front of them. How to get there? I check the maps, there is no MRT nearby, so you can take either bus number 16 or 33. You can stop at Opp Maranatha Hall and walk around 5 minutes. Or maybe you can just take a grab, it could be easier right? When I got there, I met another solo traveler like me, so we took each other photos. It was lucky for me. Thank you, stranger !
