NATIONAL GALLERY SINGAPORE : Swimming in Lights

Designed by Studio Milou Architecture, an architectural firm from France (who is famous with its design for several museums and cultural spaces), National Gallery Singapore was transformed from the old City Hall become a 19th largest museum in the world.
"I wanted the roof to give rise to accessible analogies for the public, such as the fibres of natural weaves and designs; rattan for example, or perhaps ikat Рbeautiful things conjured through a stunning design gesture," said StudioMilou founder Jean-Fran̤ois Milou. (dezeen.com/2015)
