LAKE CHUZENJI : Scenic Lake in Nikko

Our first stop in Nikko!



The weather supposed to be cloudy, but suprisingly it was perfect. The sun shone brightly and the temperature is quiet okay. When we arrived in Nikko, fortunately it was on the peak of autumn leaves. The colors of the tree were so vibrant. Probably, mid October is the best week to visit Nikko. 

Chuzenji Lake is the largest lake in Tochigi. You can see the beautiful scenery of Mount Nantai (sacred mountain in Nikko) from across the lake. You can find onsen and little shops to buy souvenirs. It only takes around 10 minutes to reach Kegon Waterfall on foot
